BMW is the best example you buy brand new crap and after 3 years you get 30 % of original price because nobody wanted to buy second hand crap.
The way you are dressed makes you like a Priest.
I only buy used luxury cars, it's a no brainer. I have 2 used x3s a 2007 I paid 3k and a 2012 I paid 12k, you get a ton of car for the money and luxury. I would not take a new corolla for example for 25k if you gave it to me. I had an audi before, but going back to bmw for the sportiness Andrade.
Yeah I buy what feel good even if the retail price is bad? I guess it’s like eating a hot fudge sundae know when you’re on a diet and you’re going to gain weight and it’s bad for you but it taste good I could have one because it tastes good and I like it I’ll deal with the consequences ? Because I enjoy it taste good feels good same with my car for 🚙 SUV!!
Any car lose 30% after 3 years, offcourse the expensive ones lose more money because the price is bigger. This video is pointless and a waste off time. Only rare car are investitions and who buys a luxury car is because they want that and know is not going to sell for same price.
What suv is the on this vid’s thumbnail?
awsome
sr71 built for power oooooooooooooooooooooh yeah
bruh
uuummmmm
Yeah, Yeah. Where did you get your stupid rates.?
I have spent thousands in the last few years on my BMW because I've owned it since new from 2003. Financially it does not make sense but from a driving standpoint it makes sense because new BMW's will not have the same road feel as older BMW's with hydraulic steering. Sure the repairs amount to almost the price of a new Kia over the span of 17 years but I would not want to drive a brand new Kia. The reason BMW's depreciate a lot because people don't like spending money on basic maintenance, simple like that, and it has nothing to do with how wealthy the person is. A wealthy can still neglect basic maintenance because they're too busy or they will switch to a new car soon.
This priest sure knows a lot about cars...
That's true
Actually yes I buy new car. Advice me which SUV do you recommend to buy as second hand car please.
Like your jokes
only carguys buys used cars 😁😁
1% sucks
CarTrek season 4 idea?
If no one buys a new car as you say, there would be no used cars for sale.
New cars and trucks are so expensive only wealthy people can afford them. I currently own a vehicle that I bought for 10K but it sold for 40K brand new. It was 6 years old when I bought it.
I never buy a new car. always buy a second hand car , been doing this since the good old 80's. Can't afford a new one.
Was actually looking for a Toureag because my Mariner broke down. A co worker overheard me and offer me his wife's Mercedes SUV. Initially I ignored him as joking, but he repeated it and wanted me to come by. It's a 2006, excellent shape, and for $4K, can't complain either.
I'm so lucky I didn't buy these cars 😄
People spending 100k on a vehicle don't give a shit about gas mileage just fyi... And most people don't right now with gas under $2/ gal
A 2016 version of that watch is worth more than the car today... Just saying...
*Tourewreck*
I totally not agree with you, thanks for the video, guys buy only new cars... ofc don`t buy 100k $$$ car, be smart and calculate after I bought a new car I won't ever seat in old even premium someones farted car :) warranty, reliability, service, you just don`t waste your time and make money in the meantime... so I had my second new car a few month ago and it`s a bless, also a bought in quite cheap because it was demo car and it had 2k miles on it. lol :) the discount was 33%!!!! also you could buy 2-3 old cars if it have like 5 years warranty~ thanks all :)
Don't usually buy a new car but the new Ford Bronco. Im on the list: )
Thanks man,I'll never buy another new car again ever, well done, but I do love the audi Q8 ,I GUESS ILL GET A 3 OR 4 YEAR OLD USED ONE
that mic makes u look like a pastor man
11:00 I jumped at my computer's mouse ready to skip ads.
BMW is junk...
Loved the stranger things clip around the Bentley 😅😅 great segway.
Not the same. I bought my X5 M brand new. No regrets I’m so happy with it
So... Someone could steal the watch out of a Bentley, sell it & go buy a corvette?... Or... did the watch depreciate too? Lol!
you get my like for that land rover youtube comment
I still think the Alfa Stelvio Quadrifoglio is one serious contender on the used market.
IMHO, the reason these cars' value falls so steeply is ... REALITY! The reality is that these car companies (like ALL greedy corporations these days) WAY overcharge for these cars, and then the real world (read: the market at large) see's them for their true value. Don't get me wrong ... I loved this video and I totally [agree with everything you've said here. I just wanted to point out that if you really think about it, corporate greed has done this same effect to EVERYTHING we purchase these days ... even food! NOTHING is worth anywhere NEAR what we are paying for! It is destroying us all by putting us in debt (our fault, in a way, by being guilty of vane consumerism), slowly wrecking our economies and markets (it all looks good now, but it will eventually have to cause the bubble to burst). I.E.: How many Mercedes-Benzs' can the earth hold? (smirk)
They loose prices because they are way overpriced in the first place , thats how banks help companies like this sell overpriced items , by lending money to people that can not afford to buy it .
Any car whether expensive or not loses about 60% purchase value within 5 years.
Yeah but these lose the most. That’s all. Of all the losers, these are the loserest
Because their reliability is shit.
@Ideal Media Absolutely. If I had money but still was a cheapskate and could get unlimited warranties like Doug Demuro - those are the only kinds of cars that I would be driving :D
True but they cool tho
This is why people dont like the 1% LOL safe to say its a shit ton of jealous haters out there. Also alot of these cars are cheap with a shit ton of miles, try and get them with reasonable miles around 30k or 40k miles and the Depreciation doesn't hit hard at all LOL
He said most the most popular because it be in rap videos 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and that Bentley doesn't.....🤦🏾♂
Grt vid. Brilliant presentation style, and car info not bad either.
why sell a car. why not trade?
Bentleys have a lifetime warrantee for the original owner fyi
i would buy a ford escape base model or a 4runner
I now understand how enterprise selects vehicles for their premier choices.
Low price = TRAP. Only going to be $2000 for an oil change. theyll fuck you in service.
Yes I would buy a SUV that depreciate cause MOST of them just look better & I can't afford new..... yet 🚙
What he didn’t mention is the fact that there cars were severely overpriced to begin with. Great video though!
Tesla is the last car I want to own living in flood prone Houston. I can only imagine losing power while trying to evacuate. How fk'd up is that?
I lease japanese vehicle for 4yrs and put them in business account
Never new - ever!
Cars have always been a status symbol and not an investment, only stupid doesn't know that.
Rovers are dumpsters. And the Beamer 4.4L be sure to be adament about oil changes or theres major issues with timing chains amd engine detonations ( as in 💥) Seeing a huge hole in the side of the engine block is not a pretty sight, trust me BEEN there.
A 2015 BMW X5M costs €75k here in The Netherlands.
A lexus is the best luxury car on the market for the price. I love em
One of my biggest pet peeves in automotive lingo is when people speak of the MSRP as the "value" of the vehicle and use them interchangeably as if they are the same thing. The Manufacturers "Suggested" retail price is nothing more than what it says. It is what the Manufacturer "SUGGESTS" we can sell this vehicle to some sucker for after we add in huge fees and upcharges and charge them a $15,000.00 luxury tax and a $2500.00 delivery fee and $3000.00 or $4000.00 for a Nav system we paid $500.00 for plus $5000.00 for fancy wheels we paid 500 for and $4000.00 for leather seats that cost us $300.00 and every possible nickel and dime fee we can think of........NONE........ of which have horse-squeeze to do with the fair market value of the vehicle. The MSRP should be called the RPMS or "Retail Price the Manufacturer SUCKERED" your dumb ass into paying. Its one thing to hear the avg dweeb on the street use the "MSRP" as the "Value" but i will never understand why car guys do it ............... the "MSRP" is not and never was and never will be the "Fair Market Value' of the Vehicle. A $100,000.00 Lincoln Navigator Black Label Edition doesn't have much more "VALUE" on the open market than a $50,000.00 Ford Expedition. The $100,000 IS NOT the Value of the Vechicle. Thats just what they suckered you into paying. thats how they make their profit ..... i seriously wish people would stop with that stupidity and stop telling themselves that lie...
Always buy new and keep them till they wear out.
Dude knows nothing. lame vid thumbs down.
All German vehicles loose a lot of value is there not reliable so expensive to repair. Thats why you just want to lease them up to the warranty expires. I'm surprise Mercedes wasn't on this list they loose a lot of value too.
I’m getting fuckin sick of this Amazon guy.
I would never buy any one of those cars. New or Pre-owned. I stick with my Lexus and/or Toyota.
i buy new hondas and toyotas because they are reliable, hold their value, and you can pass them on to your grandchildren
German car is so poor quality and low value. Simply junk
It made so much sense
This only works fine if you a mechanic or a 24 year old cutie. (If u know what i mean)
How are them VW touragues on relatability?
I am actually listening to advice from a guy who doesn't know the currency in the third biggest economy in the world, Germany! 🤦🏻♂️
Most of these vehicles do not have a good track record for repairs and maintenance cost. You can pick them up cheep, simply because nobody can afford the repair cost on them.
Great info! Can you share a video with 3 yr depreciation of many new luxury SUVs that have launched in mkt like X7
Most vehicles lose 50% of their values in 5 years unless you own a Ferrari which barely gets driven and few are sold.
Doesn't the Tesla SUV get OTA software updates? I thought that was an advantage of any Tesla model? Or am I wrong?
Meanwhile Toyota: *laughs in tacoma*
This is stupid thinking. 30k dep for new expedition at $6k a year is actual great value for the original owner.
I paid 9000 for my wife RX350...feeling good about that!!!
All cars loose value except special edition
Me; Do you know how a INFINITY QX70 look? Dude; No sh""t i dont know! Me; you just sayd it😂
My 2016 GLC 300 all wheel drive is extremely reliable, easy to maintain and was a bargain 4 months ago with only 24k miles on it. The AMG package is a rip off and I avoided it. Maybe they will be more fairly priced in 5-6 years.
i understand the theory of depreciation but you are aware of the difference between a car with 5yrs and 60k miles on it and a new car? I mean there is difference between depreciation and wear?
You don’t know what currency do they use in Germany! I rest my case with your videos. Thanks for not giving me so much troubles.
Thought you were a priest...wearing a color
HEY MAN! I have a bentayga and I’m watching your channel 🤣🤗
German and American cars age in dog years! Stay away from them
A 2015, ‘16 & ‘17 VW Touareg is very hard to find. They are not lease automobiles, they’re purchased and will last 10 plus years and not look out of date.
Rich people don’t give a hoot about depreciation. They lease every 2 or 3 years.
There is a reason why they are called Range OVER, and Land OVER....Game OVER!
buying a new gx 460 good or bad idea?
They are not reliable, especially the Audi, BMW, and Mercedes. They are throw away vehicles, that's why people lease them.
so...how do you find a good warrenty on these used cars???
New subscriber right after intro, killin it. Congratulations!
This is so funny, I have a Lexus GX 470 and I love it
Ur video serves a bad point....... of course shit is going to depre after 5years duhhhhh
Do not buy a used BMW X5 M unless you could afford to buy one new. The cost of repairs on an out of warranty X5 M could run you as much as half the value of it's used price stated in this video (and possibly more). Ouch!
Guess I'll just rent one instead.
Cars are depreciated that much , only in the USA.
Mercedes?
So spot on! And hilarious! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
There are use cases for buying new. First, if you don't flip your cars every 3 years and keep them for 5 - 8 or more. Second, you have a new car warranty. Third, you don't inherit someone else's problem. Fourth, you know it's been taken care of, ie maintenance. You loose value from sticker, but you have more peace of mind.
